Ashley Hurand
Appointed in July 2021 as Assistant Director, University Analytics and Institutional Research, Ashley leads Student Data and Customer Experience & Support teams. Ashley’s current focus is facilitating the development of robust student reporting, implementing UAIR Design System standards, and leveraging the teams’ expertise in understanding the intersection between the data and business processes, as well as expertise in dashboard design, data visualization and user experience.
During Ashley’s tenure with UAIR, she has played a key role in developing Interactive Fact Book, Arizona Profiles and the Data Exploration Series with the goal of furthering data literacy. She has also worked to support peer analyses and faculty studies. She also spearheaded the creation of the first customer experience survey to establish benchmarks focusing on the effectiveness of UAIR’s efforts.
Ashley has been with UArizona for over 16 years, serving in various capacities including business administration, sponsored projects accounting, and developing initiatives for student affairs. Ashley holds both a Master of Science in Management Information Systems and a Master of Social Work, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Business Intelligence and Analytics.
