Furlough and Furlough-Based Salary Programs Dashboard

The new dashboard, Furlough and Furlough-Based Salary Programs is now live and available for use for provisioned users of UAccess Analytics.

Some of the answers this dashboard provides include:

  • Who participated in which Furlough program at given a point in time.
  • What the projected Furlough/Flex hours were for your unit at a point in time.
  • What the Estimated Annual Savings are for your unit in a point in time.
  • What an individual’s Original IBS was prior to the program.
  • What an individual’s Original IBS was, at FTE, prior to the program.
  • What an individuals Reduced IBS is, at FTE, prior to the program.
  • How many Flex/Furlough hours have been approved for your unit.

About Job Attributes and Snapshots for this Dashboard

For individuals participating in the Furlough-Based Salary Program (Flex Time-Pay Reduction) program, the dashboard uses the job attributes prior to the Pay Reduction Program - Start MSS transaction being processed for their participation in the program. For individuals participating in the Furlough program the information is based on most recent job attributes.

Factors such as an increase or decrease in program participation through new hires and separations, compensation changes, position distribution changes, departmental transfers, program length, and many more will have an impact on the savings and hours estimates on this dashboard. For this reason, information on this dashboard is pulled from two different snapshots for users to choose from:

1) Pay period snapshots taken at the end of each pay period, on a bi-weekly basis. The snapshot for each pay-period will be available the following Friday (payday) after payroll has been processed.

2) Current snapshots providing data as of the previous day for the current pay-period.

For additional information about the dashboard, we highly recommend you visit the Furlough and Furlough-Based Salary Dashboard Reference Guide.

Updated Time and Labor Dashboards

Weekly Reported Time - We have made updates to the dashboard page to make it easier to review the weekly data and have provided an all-inclusive list of TRC Code Descriptions. You will be able to run the dashboard page using the TRC Code prompt to filter to PFE - Personal Flex Time, PFP-Personal Flex Time, UFE - University Furlough, or UFP-University Furlough to quickly see how many hours for a given code were reported by individuals during a given week

Payroll Expenditure Listing with SET - We have added a prompt Earnings Description that you can filter Personal Flex Time. This will allow units to quickly review how much Personal Flex Time is getting assessed to any given account and will facilitate the review of the associated expenditures to ensure that they are accurately being charged to the appropriate accounts.
