Data Literacy is the ability to read, work with, analyze, and communicate with data. Understanding data sources in a meaningful way is essential to using information that informs policy and empowers decisions. Resources such as the Data Exploration Series aim to educate customers on dashboards, tools, and visualizations offered in UAccess Analytics, as well as promote a stronger data culture on campus. In addition to these events, the release of updated and comprehensive UAccess Analytics trainings in EDGE Learning serves to push our campus community toward a more data literate future. UAIR’s data literacy initiatives aim to get customers comfortable with the data tools and services offered at the university, as well as prepare customers to use our offerings to power their work.
