Response to unidentified indian hostilities; military rolls which give totals of personnel in companies in area, weapons that they possess and mission, in this case being attacks on indians of Benito, pantaleon, comoteros, mariguanes, sanaquais, and pacitas; virrey tells conde de la sierragorda that in the future he is to communicate with comandante general before he undertakes an expedition against indians; mayordomo of hacienda requests and receives troop protection after pacitas steal horses from his hacienda, once there troops encountered several indian groups in the area and recovered somne of the livestock; seeks to establish missions in area in order to help pacify indians of area and exploit mines of areas to their fullest.
