A panorama - mt. at right shows grass, mts. and native farms - with bananas, manihot, corn, sweet potatoes etc. Where we pass the highest point there is no change in the country - a series of hills and valleys, not as steep! but hills everywhere. The hills are marked off here and there by a group of trees - a hut - or by banana trees. [Shantz travel journal, Mar. 16, 1920]
