Native dancers

Description:
Dancing. Bells, feather head-dress, etc. In this dance they use a black seed perfectly round and about 1/4 to 1/8 inch in diameter. They use the hollow shell of a fruit - probably the same as sent in from Kafue. This dance does not compare with the open ballet character of the Watudsi chiefs. [Shantz travel journal, Mar. 4, 1920]
