Description:
Manihot on mat in fore, beans back - and seed corn in a rack at the back. All ears with husk on and tip down - formed here in a rack. In many places it is hung up in the hut, where the husk is black with smoke. Beans same as sent from Kigoma. [Shantz travel journal, Feb. 24, 1920]
