The market on Sunday morning was not well attended - the chief produce was meat (goat), dried fish - of about 2-3 inches long, manihot, corn in husks, beans, mangoes, a few tomatoes, and peanuts, wood, pumpkin (green), manihot meal. Manihot meal or flour, on which bees work constantly. [Shantz travel journal, Feb. 15, 1920]
