Description:
Yellow sweet pepper - or rather an eggplant. It is said to be a native thing and very similar to the cultivated varieties. This one is larger than the red one but seems to be a little firmer and tougher. The eggplant mentioned above - yellow variety. [Shantz travel journal, Feb. 5, 1920]
