A young plant of Landolphia [crossed out] - cut back, shows fine large leaves of deep green color - about 3 ft. high, handsome plant. [Shantz travel journal, Oct. 21-27, 1919] The shrub listed as Landolphia kirkii is Conopharyngia elegans - a rubber plant known as Kahlu or In-kaii-chonga. The fruit is known as kahlwara.
