The small angular black bush - so prominent in this section. Looks much like some of our brush - a Grayia like habit - a Pentzia like color and habit. With this there is also Mimosa.... Rock covered surface. Veg. = winter rest. Toward sun, shows reflection from desert varnish on rock fore. [Shantz travel journal, Sep. 17, 1919]
