Description:
Open valley with thorn and leaves on it - hills at side, brush like vegetation, white houses of Heidelberg Cape in the distance. This country is much better than it was a few miles back. Principal products are wool, grain, aloe and tobacco. (Wheat, oats, & barley.) [Shantz travel journal, Aug. 29, 1919]
