Summary:
A criminal action against Manuel Baca, who refused to obey an order from the Superior government. In the presence of many people, Baca stated that he would not obey a decree, even though he was given three opportunities to change his mind. Baca was to be exiled to Taos for a year and fined 50 pesos, but was pardoned because of his poor health. (R. Jackson) (1980)
