Summary: 
Concerns Indian depredations around Valle de San Bartholome; includes notes on dangerous alliance of Tarahumaras with Apaches; a description of a foray under Zacarain who lead militia against barbarians; and a draft response by viceroy noting possible stationing of a flying company in area. Zacarain's account provides many interesting notes on combat; Apache customs; his expenses; use of Cueras by Indians; and poor condition of region resulting from enemy raids. (J.
